Travel is my Love

Happy Valentine’s Day! I hope you are spending the day with your love!  Even though I am not traveling, I am still enjoying this day full of love…that is my love for travel.

In the past year I’ve been to a few amazing places but have been too busy to write about.  A new grandson, helped with two weddings and three showers.  Whew…a little exhausted!

Let’s see what the new year brings.  I have too many dreams to pursue all at once but got the plans rolling for the summer already with my biggest adventures.  Little  adventures before an after.

I’m still in awe of my hike in Rocky Mountain National Park last Thanksgiving and my trip to Glacier National Park last summer.  And not to mention my almost deadly annual kayaking trip in Northeastern Iowa.  Photo attached is a prequel to what’s coming.

It feels good to just write something again today.  I seem to have so many adventures and then fail to get them down on paper.  It reminds of how much I’m missing the road.

Until next time…

Travel tip:

Spontaneous trips are fun but planning will alleviate a lot of stress.  Try to research your adventure before hand.  It gives you something to speak with the locals about.
