I was listening to my normal podcasts this morning on my bus ride to work. One of my favorite podcasts is “Keep Your Daydream” travel podcasts hosted by Tricia Leach. I love listening to the fascinating stories from brave people who decided to make their daydreams come true with determination and tenacity that exists when one knows that the regular “9 to 5” job just isn’t for them. I’ve become one of them but have not found the tenacity yet to make the dream happen. Don’t think I’m not working on…I do almost every day. But have I have a few other goals I must meet before I take the leap.
Anyway, today’s topic from Episode 78 was about two brothers traveling around the United States. This is a dream of mine. I have been to 38 states already but my heart says that I will be taking an RV for a year-long trip. I want to see every national park. I want to meet real people in the real world. Then I want to document their stories and mine but either writing or videotaping. Or both!
Towards the end of the podcast, Tricia asks the brothers to describe their “jaw dropping moments” on the trip. The adventures they just couldn’t believe they were on. And that got me thinking. I have been on so many amazing adventures and visited many “jaw dropping” places. I want to share them and sometimes words are hard to find. And sometimes, time is hard to find.
I started thinking of all the places I’ve been and tried to categorize them with the best experiences first. I found it hard to rate my adventures but I tried. My list is below and is surely in no order that I can officially say is correct. I can only rate as what I feel I would like to see again. However, I will write blogs about each and every one. Sometimes there may be more than one blog for each location.

I have many more places I want to visit. There are just too many to count. But I do recommend listening to the “Keep Your Daydream” podcast or visiting their website www.keepyourdaydream.com. The episodes are filled with inspiring true stories that touch your inner being to the core. You will not want to stay home another day.
I’m on my way to Glacier National Park. Hope to have lots of pictures, videos and stories to tell along the way and/or when I get back.
Until next time…
Travel Tip – Make sure you take bear spray on your hike at any destination known to have grizzly bears. This has been a huge topic this past month for my trip to Glacier National Park.
Do you know what to do if you are confronted by a grizzly? For information, visit https://www.nps.gov/subjects/bears/safety.htm
