You have to admit, this picture is precious! Just look at that smile and chubby cheeks! If I feel I’m swaying off to a bad mood, I open up my phone and admire. He’s like a shot of espresso only better.
If you haven’t guessed already, this little guy is my new grandson! Beckett Jack, born March 1, 2016 at 12:18pm, weighing 7 lbs 2 oz and 19-1/4 inches long. Oh the fun we will have and the times we will share bonding through adventures! I know, I know. It will be a few years before I can take him on a hike in the mountains or a vacation to Disney World. But I can visualize it and tell him about all the amazing experiences we are going to share. Again and again, congratulations to my son Kegan and daughter-in-law Staci for this amazing gift!!
My, how fast my life has flown by in the past few years. It feels like I blinked and my children were grown with little ones of their own. I’ve moved eight times in the last few years and finally settled down in one place to be near my family and catch up on writing. I can’t quite explain the joy of knowing I will be a part of my grandchildren’s lives and they will be going on adventures with me soon.
Who knows where I will end up next and when. Could be on a sailboat. Maybe even Italy. But no matter where I go, there will be adventures to share.
How are you enjoying your time with your grandchildren? Do you travel with them?
Until next time…
Tip of the day: Sign up for email notifications for airlines, hotels, etc. The best fares are usually not announced. You can take advantage of sales by being patient. If you don’t want all the emails to take over your inbox, create an email address just for traveling.
Coming up next: I’m sharing in the celebration of the National Parks Centennial birthday this year. I will bring you my stories of the parks I have visited in the past and my adventure this summer at Glacier National Park.
I definitely have to admit it . . . this is one of the cutest baby pics I’ve seen!!! And I’m also looking forward to the celebrations of the National Parks via your blog. Yeah!
Thank you!
