Grateful? You betcha!!

With all the posts on Facebook, Twitter, Instagrams and blogs, I know it’s overwhelming to listen to another person brag about what they are grateful for.  However, I love to hear about friend’s and families lives and how they are succeeding with the blessings they have.  There are times when we don’t feel so thankful for what we have, not realizing what has been given to us.  I myself have spent a great deal of this year moping and feeling sorry for myself when times got tough and I would consider losing my faith.  You could say, I lost my adventure a few times.  And looking back, I turn around really fast to look forward.  There are many adventures left to explore and experience.  As the saying goes, “Don’t look back, you are going that way!”

I am so grateful for it all no matter what!  The air I breathe, my beautiful children I am so proud of, the great friends that have stuck by me through thick and thin, and the family that keeps me standing when life feels as though the weight is too heavy to carry.  And I can’t tell you how many adventures I have been on that I have still yet to share with you. I have done more than most people get to do in a lifetime.  Most of all, I am thankful for God’s love and grace and how he directs me but lets me make my own mistakes.  And…I am sooo grateful I am going to be a grandma to a little boy!!!  I feel the love already and this little guy is going on some adventures with me!

It’s a beautiful day no matter the rain or snow (in my area anyway).  Be the sunshine for others and you will realize just how much you have to be grateful for!  Happy Thanksgiving!
